Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights activist, author, model and actor. Her movies comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). Growing up in an artistic family living in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of art. The first job she had was a photo assistant. She then moved on to modelling and acting. The award she received was an award called the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major hit and fetched her worldwide notoriety, and an Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. She was named the best female box-office star of the world in just three films. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph with handprints, foot prints and handprints in 1972. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw was married three times.
