Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress, best known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s she began her career as an actress on stage for Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it big on the national theatre space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. The singer also released her debut music album It's Time for Tina that same year. Louise was first seen in Hollywood with God's Little Acre a drama that was released in the year 1958. She played Griselda who was a character from the movie. When she was students in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. In 1964, she signed to CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing more serious characters as opposed to her perception as a glamorous girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years she's also been a popular director for well-known television shows like Supernatural and The 100. Her family moved out of Essex to Toronto, where she spent childhood and adolescence. Her home was in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
